Value Race

How to win?

The winning team is the one generating the maximum of cash.

Who are the participants?

Participants are 5 teams of 3 to 5 players. Each team represents a retailer or a manufacturer. Teams can be from different divisions within a same company or from different companies.

How to play?

Teams compete during 6 business cycles: retailers compete to satisfy consumer demand, manufacturers compete to serve best retailers. Strategic decisions can be made at each cycle impacting sales, supply chain, operations. Negotiations can take place between retailers and manufacturers on various items.

What can be the underlying business challenges?

  • Poor collaboration across different teams / value of competition

  • Dysfunction of S&OP (the most emblematic process requiring collaboration within companies)

  • SC unaddressed challenges & poor results in terms of KPIs
